Members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State where the Senate President, Bukola Saraki hails from said they do not want him in the party as he plans his defection move. The members who first held a Rally before addressing Journalists at the Ilorin West Local Government Party Secretariat, called on the National Leadership of the PDP not to grant him access to return, if they do not want to lose supporters from Kwara state. Few days after the PDP-Led coalition that witnessed the merger of about thirty nine political parties, members of the Ilorin West Chapter of the PDP in Kwara State said the Senate President, Bukola Saraki is not welcomed to the Party. The members threatened to leave the party if the National Leadership allows the Senate President back into the PDP. They assured the PDP national leadership of landslide victory in the state in 2019 without the support of the Senate President
